Control the equipment you already own

Audio Hero discovers compatible audio devices on your local network and brings their controls and music sources together. HEOS and Sonos are enabled by default; additional device families can be enabled in Settings.

Use Android 8.0 or later on the same local network as your players. Features vary by device and music source. The preview guide describes the current Android app; final 1.0.0 details will be confirmed at launch.

When do I need a Companion?

Many players can be controlled directly. Push streaming to AirPlay, Sendspin, and Snapcast uses Audio Hero Companion on a Windows PC. A Companion also lets you browse and play YouTube Music on your devices, using an account signed in through Audio Hero for Windows, and runs your scheduled automations even when your phone is off or away.

Other Companion browser music services are deferred from the first Android release. Mixed-brand playback is not guaranteed to be sample synchronized.
